Hello, enjoyed Bihu??? The dress worn by the dancers are Muga Silk, a wonderful gift of nature extracted from a species of insect not to be found any where in the world except in the North Eastern region of India. Muga Silk is the pride of Assam.
We feel proud of it!!!

Bihu titilates the senses only as some special varients can. I once saw troupe of young Assamese boys dance the Bihu, i can still recall it vividly, and the movements of the body of one particular boy- he was called Ankush.
